And that's about it for content. RSF will be revisited in my current project Ennui GO!. Possibly sooner than you might think.

Damn dude.

Most people could spend a lifetime scribbling and not make something that even approaches that.
Shamshel 29th Feb 2020, 4:17 AM edit delete reply
Well. Um. That was certainly NOT what I was expecting.
yeet 3rd Mar 2020, 6:20 AM edit delete reply
OK..... I'm guessing that the sister is izzy's mom, and her sister is Rebecca? or Rebecca is the mom
Shamshel 3rd Mar 2020, 2:38 PM edit delete reply
That makes no sense. It’s heavily implied in Ennui Go that Lucian is actually the Lucian from this comic. Ennui Go Lucian even mentions Soleil at one point, who’s one of the characters from this comic. I’m guessing that Kirsty and Lucian eventually get married and give birth to Ashley and her sister. It makes no sense that Ashley’s sister would eventually become Izzy’s mom. We even see a younger version of Izzy’s mom in Ennui Go, and she looks nothing like Ashley’s sister. If that was the case, though, that would mean Kirsty, who is Izzy’s clone, would have to be Izzy herself’s grandmother. So your theory is untrue. Well, unless Doc decides to bring up some time travel bullshit in Ennui Go.
DoctorGlasgow 9th Mar 2020, 9:39 PM edit delete reply
Yep, this is it. Izzy's clone sister Kirsty is the mom in RSF. She marries Lucian and they have Ashley and her sisters. Although I now consider RSF to be the "bad end" of their story.

If thats the bad end where does the good end good
Ryn 22nd Mar 2020, 1:42 PM edit delete reply
Could that have something to do with why Kirsty can only give birth to females? Since she's a clone. Or is that irrelevant?
Guest 7th Apr 2020, 5:18 PM edit delete reply
Ryn, the gender depends of the FATHER'S genetic material, so yes, it IS irrelevant to her clone status.
(you should know that because it's taught at school and you're browsing a 18+ website, BTW)

I passed biology back in... before 2004 I forget which year exactly and they weren't teaching that back then, at least in the highschool I went to. It's possible it's either NOT universally taught, at least here in the state, or also possible it's been added sometime in the past 15 years to the required curriculum. Truth be told though it's also equally possible they/I just forgot, it's a lot harder to remember every single thing you've ever been taught then people seem to think.

@ Embarec Geez, really? They do not teach such basic stuff as the whole XY chromosome pairs stuff in HIGH SCHOOL where you live? Given that my 10-old daughter was already taught that a year ago (and she already knew from FRENCH CHILDREN'S CARTOONS), I must ask: Where in the world is that? Bible belt of the US? Afghanistan? Somalia?

EG cast page si no more. Can please post a link to some page with Lucien? (preferably first or last one where he appears).
Guest 7th Apr 2020, 5:27 PM edit delete reply
Just binged the whole Ennui Go because of reasons. First (still unnamed) appeareance of Lucien is #617 where he's introducted as a researcher Izzy just hired AND as Kristy's blatant love at first sight. He's later just an infrequent recurrent character, always as Kristy's boyfriend helping her with her YT channel, no mention of his work as researcher whatsoever.
You're welcome.

Pretty sure around early 900 he mentions Soleil and that they are researching more colors.

Guest 10th Mar 2020, 12:59 AM edit delete reply
And add that ill like to see where it goes from here
Guest 29th Mar 2020, 4:42 AM edit delete reply
This series has just become a bit more important to the main series

Did I just binge read the series ay 4am? Yes. Do I regret? No. Its a dark... origin story? And more serious one with better story writing compared to ennuigo, since its only story and not slice of life jokes. Good job.

So, that was one of you earlier work? Just noticed the link to it on the top menu. Liked it. Especially the part about how we can only move forward.

How old were you when you made it?
DoctorGlasgow 22nd May 2020, 2:37 AM edit delete reply
I made this probably seven or eight years ago.
TumblingLucky 17th Dec 2020, 6:49 PM edit delete reply
Will you make year 2 or imply it in the future of Ennui go! ?
DoctorGlasgow 17th Dec 2020, 7:45 PM edit delete reply
I would like to get around to at some point.
Guest 10th Jun 2021, 2:54 AM edit delete reply
I know that you sold Ennui Go! as physical copies. Would you ever consider selling a physical copy of RSF? I love the artwork and story and I would certainly buy it.
DoctorGlasgow 10th Jun 2021, 4:07 AM edit delete reply
I did and nobody bought it. I've got like ten extra copies sitting around in my house. You wanna work something out I'd be happy to sell you one.

Please make a good ending in Ennui Go, that would be so nice to see them as a happy family instead of a family all slowly going insane comic story

This comic is so weird. I just re-read for a second time, and my perspective hasn't changed.

On the one hand, I love the art. Even if it was not intendeed, it looks very manga-inspired. From things like DragonBall to BakiTheGrappler, a lot of characters and scenes reminds me of series I used to enjoy. I also love how down to earth it is with many complex topics, such
as alcoholism or parental abandonment.

On the other hand,I find the implied molestation to be really disturbing and kind of out of place. I understand it's the dark twist of the plot, but I have a hard time wrapping my head around it. Even if it's somewhat down-to-earth, the series still feels "shonen-ish", so seeing such a gruesome topic in the middle of it is simply off-putting.
